Terms of service

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. One account per person - creating multiple accounts is not permitted.

Ocupi is a platform that allows users to post and join local social activities in Novi Sad. Ocupi does not organise, host, or guarantee any activity. All activities are created and managed by users. Ocupi is not responsible for what happens at any activity.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@ocupi.rs if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to use Ocupi to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent activities
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Promote commercial products or services without agreement
• Circumvent the reliability score system through fake accounts or other means
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Collect or scrape user data without authorisation

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

Ocupi operates a reliability score system that tracks whether users attend activities they have joined. The score affects your ability to join future activities. The rules governing the score are described in our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to adjust scores in cases of verified technical errors or proven extenuating circumstances upon request.

You retain ownership of any content you post (activity descriptions, profile information). By posting content on Ocupi, you grant Ocupi a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content to other users of the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you post does not infringe third-party rights.

Ocupi provides the platform as-is. We do not guarantee that activities will take place, that hosts will show up, or that the platform will be available without interruption. To the maximum extent permitted by Serbian law, Ocupi is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or attendance at any activity posted on it.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. On deletion, your profile and activity history will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Ocupi after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Novi Sad, Serbia.
